yup tried it.. its good its good.. its the only cleaner i use now. for matt guitars i think this is a MUST. its the only cleaner that dosent shine your guitar. I had a matt black eclipse (sold it), i used a dunlop polish and the guitar became shiny (thank god its a small area). the ax wax is able clean it up w/o shining the guitar.

i use it to clean my strings after playing too. my strings rusts pretty easily perhaps due to my sweaty palms but im able to prolong the life of the strings with this.

recently my ibanez iceman came in and the fretboard was a tad dry. was contemplating ordering the fret doctor from the us but i just used the ax wax instead and its all good! the fretboard looks nice and dark still!
